Aquila Technologies Group, Inc.

Aquila Technologies Group, Inc., (Aquila), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canberra Industries, is an ISO-9001 certified developer and supplier of safeguards instrumentation, local (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) secure solutions, nuclear measurement instruments, industrial control systems, and engineering analysis and support services. For the past 28 years, Aquila has been domiciled in New Mexico and has been a major supplier to government and industry worldwide. In association with the natural course of product development, Aquila is frequently contracted by its product customers to provide engineering support, training, software development, and maintenance and repair services.

Networking

Aquila offers consulting, design, integration, development, training, and support services for secure network computing with an emphasis on secure Internet, Intranet and E-Commerce business solutions. Aquila’s Networking group has the expertise in network integration to assist customers in the design, acquisition, implementation, and support of a new network or in the modification of an existing one. Our partnership with some of the industry’s leaders in networking hardware, software and security make it possible for users to have a single source solution for all their networking needs. Safeguards

Since 1989, Aquila has been engaged in the development, manufacture, sale, and maintenance of nuclear safeguards equipment for surveillance and containment, non-destructive assay (NDA) instruments for safeguards, specialized computer systems, and computer networks for remote monitoring. Aquila has supplied safeguards products to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Commission of European Communities Euratom Safeguards Directorate (CEC), and the Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials (ABACC).

Surveillance Systems

Aquila offers several surveillance systems specifically designed for safeguards applications. Our systems provide effective motion detection and recording, as well as all-digital storage and remote operations. Additional capabilities include image compression, authentication, and encryption.

Seals

Aquila’s broad range of seals and tamper indicating devices are excellent ways to be sure that equipment or other goods have not been tampered with. Aquila offers a wide range of seals for numerous applications that range from very simple to very complex in design.

Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) Instrumentation

Aquila’s line of NDA instrumentation provides a portable, remote and unattended means of safeguards measurements.

Secure Data Collection, Transmission, and Review

Both the achievement of international acceptance and the policy changes necessary for the universal implementation of remote monitoring systems hinge on the demonstration of sufficient reliability in the technical means to guarantee authenticity and security in the transmission of data. Aquila utilizes authentication and encryption techniques for validating the source of data and ensuring privacy of data in safeguards applications such as remote monitoring. Aquila offers a variety of products that offer the capabilities for secure data collection, transmission, and review.
